This conference was very constructive!

First a background story. This summer I was flying out to Hawaii for my cousin, Brenn's, wedding. I was so pumped for the flight I had a book, a few sudoku puzzles, my scriptures, and a spare Book of Mormon to hand to someone on the flight. I was going to be flying in style, gettin' my spirituality on and such. As I boarded the plane I looked at my seat and next to it I saw this gorgeous blonde girl sitting there. I conflictedly put my scriptures and spare B.O.M.back into my backpack and stowed it in the overhead compartment, but kept the sudoku puzzle book and reading book with me. There was no way I was going to let this girl know that I was some sort of religious freak. I talked to her literally the entire 6 hour flight and had an amazing time, we laughed and joked and she was German and had a really cute accent. We talked about our future plans and ambitions and we vibed so well! We got off the plane walked over to the luggage area and waited and talked some more. But...I haven't seen her since, I haven't talked to her since, and I haven't even found her on facebook! I can't even remember her name! Oh wait...yes I do, it's Sarah. But the overall point is that what different path might our conversation taken had I not been afraid to keep my scriptures with me. Would I have maybe given her that spare Book of Mormon? Could I have kept in contact with her? Would she have converted? Probably not....but even still it's the principal of the matter.

I took one thing that is going to MAJORLY effect my lifestyle. And I think it's the hardest one for everyone to live, because it is scary! Elder Perry brought it up and it's found in 1 John 4:18, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear...he that feareth is not made perfect in love." I don't know about ya'll, but I am sooooooo afraid of sharing the gospel. It's easy to think that someone will judge you for your religious views, and it's easy for them to judge you for having religious views now a days. But had I not let fear trample my love for the gospel things might have ended differently in that 6 hour plane ride where the German girl was stuck with listening to what I had to say. Dangit! I'm going to find her! Well, I'm off to bed! Good Night!

Heavens to Betsy!

It's really late and I can't sleep. I laid in bed for 40 minutes trying to and just can't do it!
So I'll update everyone on my life.

Job: Work is terrible. I hate every second of it normally because it's so slow and nobody likes a kiosk man...I make really good sales for the company though and am among the top sellers for my kiosk. I am searching and searching for a new job.

School: Potentially, in one years time I will have gained state residency in the awesome state of Utard...I will then be applying to UVU and hopefully getting on to there wrestling program! Go Wolverines! Exciting I know. I have not decided what to study yet, but a few things are flowin' through the juicer right now and I guess we'll see how it taste after it gets to the cup. (I'm pretty sure that analogy doesn't work.)

Play: I currently only have married friends basically. I've had lots of chances to hang out with new people but they aren't as fun. I've become very accustomed to chillin' with my friends Sam and Emily Miller. Though I am looking to broaden my horizons.

Girls: To bad there isn't some sort of hex I can put up for this one. Nothing has happened in this department and I'm not really trying very hard to advance in it either. I did cuddle with one girl named Lindsey, (Why do I always end up seeing girls with some sort of variation of this name?), but then I never heard from her again. Am I a bad cuddler??? I don't know....I don't think so. BUTTTTTTTTTT...Today I did receive a text from a girl that I gave my number to that I have had a crush on since I met her. That is all going to be saved for later though.

Spiritually: I have been doing awesome for the most part! Moving to Utah has benefited me largely in this department...I know right, who'd of thunk? I have a pretty decent ward, don't know many people from it, but I'm hoping to not have to work as late of hours in the future and I'll hopefully be able to do more with them. Scriptures are going great and now I just need to get into institute! But my hours of work also conflict majorly with that. It womps, but as goes life.

So that's the jist in my zone of the world. Hope everyone else is doing well! Love you all!

What might have caused such a befuddlement of the word you ask? Well the answer my dear followers is the movie Dumbo.

Growing up on Disney movies I have learned to appreciate such words as "pacydoyms" and yes the very word this blog post is about..."coytainly."

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!

No everyone I did not disappear! Except I'm sure for some that would have been bearable! I have moved to the great state of Utah......I've always been opposed to ever living up here, but so far I really like it. Winter hasn't hit thought and we'll see how it all plays out.

I'm currently putting in job applications like crazy! I've already got one job selling sunglasses, but I don't like it, so I'm looking for a second and or better job. I'm going to hopefully have lots of stuff for you all to see soon! I'm tired now and going to bed. Goodnight!

Sorry, it's been a while since I've posted last! I'll catch you up real quick. A week ago I went to California with my friends Danielle, Eric, and Bret. We stayed with my aunt, Shanna, in Poway. I don't think we were even there for 72 hours, but 20 hours of the time we were there was spent on the beach! It was way too much fun, I didn't even get in trouble with the law, which I am semi-infamous for! We visited the San Diego temple, so gorgeous! And hung out with my cousin Kimbre, went and slept through Harry Potter 7 p 2 for 9 dollars, and many other random events of spontaneity.

This next week I have all planned out, and I'm stoked for it! Monday, I'm going to go wrestle at Dysart High School; Tuesday, I'm going to wrestle at Valley Vista High School; Wednesday, I'm working; Thursday, I'm working; THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN Friday I leave for HAWAII!!!!!!!! My dear cousin Brenn McWhorter is getting married to a Kaulin Krebbs on Saturday in Hawaii, so it was a perfect excuse to visit the tropics! I haven't decided between Snorkeling while I'm there or Shark diving! I'm probably going to end up doing both, but I'm very excited!

The Joys of Sundays!

Sundays are like my Saturdays for most people....But better. I wake up at whatever time I want, this morning was 7:20 am to be able to get to my friend Jordan Hunters homecoming (Which was awesome by the way, best talk I've ever heard on the blessings of trials). I then went outside in the foyer where I chit chatted for 2 hours with my friends from high school Jordan McCalpin (Who's recently engaged), Peri Musser, Shawna Gulledge, Eric Blackham, and Peri's parents, Dan and Staphanie. I then went to Jordan's home where I talked to more old friends for another 2 hous. Went to the remainder of singles ward, got done, went to Eric's house, ate food with his family, went home and bought a plane ticket to HAWAII!!!!!!!!!!! Good full sabath day!

I made it! Weekend! well not exactly yet, I still unfortunately have to work during the fireworks display tonight at the lake, but I'm pretty sure that will be fun!

Lately, I've been having these ridiculously overwhelming bursts of happiness, they are so intense at times that I sometimes don't think I can keep them concealed, but I always do. This last week I had a big family party, I love being able to see them! The gathering was more than needed and I was glad I could make it there. I'm tired all the time now it seems, I don't have much of a social life, because all I do is work and sleep. But that's ok with me, I'll have plenty of chance to socialize once my summer is over. I'm working roughly 50ish hours this week, I'm pretty stoked because of overtime pay.

At work I have plenty of time to think, no music, working in the heat, working alone, doing manual labor...so I take as much pressure of my job by perusing through my brain nitpicking at each category I could do better in my life. I guess you could call it a personal inventory. It's opened my mind to a lot of things, helps me see more clearly and what not and I'm very grateful for that.

I've got a few new pictures I could post, but I'll wait until another time to post them. Love you!

I've been up to a whole mess of things lately. But....unfortunately/fortunately, I got a job. So, now it's time to get back the serious stuff. I'm going to be working for a company that runs all the Lake Pleasant facilities doing maintenance for them. We'll see how it goes. I'm pretty stoked actually. I just got back from Claudia's house (that's my older sister for those who don't know) and we chilled with the family. Every time we hang out with family I love it! We have a heck of a time making fun of each other and what not. I'm really grateful for them and all there examples, love, and support. Love you guys! Happy Father's day to my dad and all you other dads out there!

My Good Friend

I recently had a friend committ suicide this week, Wednesday to be exact. He and I were best friends growing up, from the age of 8 to 13 we literally did everything together. Then he moved to Texas and we grew apart, but the last few months I've seen him tons. His family moved back, just a few miles south of our house in Surprise. We had several moments where we reminised the good ol' days and had long talks. But not once did he ever say a thing about what was going on in his head. After having talked with several people they had similar experiences with him, they laughed, joked, made inside jokes and not a single person was ever told by him what he was feeling. His family even knew nothing about it, and he had an excellent home life. I was really troubled by it after I had heard he died, so I went in to researching it, looked up talks on lds.org and read up on studies that were published of common suicide cases. After researching, I came to a conclusion that ULTIMATELY, there was nothing that me or anybody else could have possibly done to keep him from taking his life. It was entirely his decision. No one knew about it and he told no one about it, so what preventative action could someone have taken? I'm grateful I got to know this person, because he taught me a very real lesson. It's impossible...no matter how charismatic, psychic, or telepathic we think we are, there are many things that can be hidden from you. If you are reading this, and you have had similar issues PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find help, contact me, your church leaders, ANYONE, I can't tell you how detramental this has been to his family and friends. In the aftermath of this tragedy, I've realized how important it is to be open with your friends, and how just being a nicer person can help someone to open up to people. So from here on out I'm going to try really hard to be a nicer person to everyone, because like my good friend, you never know what they are going through.

Life Just Got More Complicated

Yesterday I went to post the post before this and it wouldn't allow me. The simplicity of my blog previous to this day kept me perfectly happy... Now I don't know what I did but some how I think I fixed it, but I don't know for how long. And I'm missing my O key so my right ring finger is getting tired very quickly whenever I type....GRRRRRRRRR..... Oh well...I feel better now, more positive things to be posted in the future! I'm living back at home for the summer. Trying to rummage around town and get a job. I've been mostly chilling out with the family and friends occasionally. I'm headed back to EAC next semester. When I began my day yesterday (Valentine's Day), I woke up with slightly smaller expectations for the day. It started with my English class, which I love because our professor gives us lots of opportunities to write and lately, I LOVE to write. He gave us the nasty heart shaped chalk candies that you would kill anyone for when you were 5, but now at the age of 20 consuming such a high dosage of sugar and corn syrup would knock you out for a day (my body doesn't deal well with sugar.) I then went in to work from 11-to 1 because someone had an emergency at work and asked for me to cover for them. I made twelve dollars on one run, it was great! Then I went home to go to math, ended up watching a movie with my roommate Abram and eating our left over ice cream from the night before. Half way through the movie my neighbors/friends Bri and Jess came over to say hello because they had spent the whole weekend down in the valley, and claimed to had felt like they hadn't seen me in years. I then proceeded to clean the house, shortly after cleaning it was time to play rugby.

It started awesome! We had 14 people out this time and in the first five minutes Justin tackled Jarom and landed right on the outside portion of my right leg, my leg buckled in and my ankle popped loud. So loud that the guy who had tackled, Justin, jumped up asking if Jarom was alright not noticing me lying on the ground next to him. I laid in the grass for about 30 seconds and jumped up and fell right back down. Luckily it is only a minor 2nd grade sprain, but enough to put me out of comission for 2-3 weeks. I'm going to try to let it heal. We'll see how well that goes. I hopped on one leg basically playing two hand touch as best I could the rest of the game.

Next I had to go to FHE. It was short, it always is. So then after FHE I had asked Jessica on a date! I went to her place and picked her up. We went to the store and got chicken terriyaki stir fry ingredients and we went back to my trailer and prepared it. All was done except for the chicken so we set it on the stove on a low heat and left to go steal flowers from someones yard. Note to everyone who is reading, flowers DO NOT grow in Thatcher in the winter time. We got back to the house and I could smell something burning, going as fast as I could with my busted ankle I bolt inside the door and pull the now charred remains of what once was chicken terriyaki off the stove and wept with sadness, because our delicious meal was now unedible. Instead of trying to stomach the remains of the meat and veggies we went to sonic and bought food, came back and watch the movie Valentine's Day, and then talked for what seemed like not to long. Until we saw my roommates room light flip on. My roommate works out at the mine in Morenci and has to be up at 3:30am everyday to make it to work on time. We looked at each other and laughed, unknowingly we had spent seven hours talking/preparing food/laughing/watching a movie and hadn't even once thought to look at a clock. I walked her home, as best I could and said goodnight.

So that is my Valentine's Day rundown, probably the most successful and most fun I've ever had on Valentine's Day! Love ya all!

The Art of Self Discovery!

Today as I was sitting home alone watching "It's Complicated" starring Meryl Streep, Steve Martin, and Alec Baldwin-good cast by the way-I had some sort of epiphany hit me in the face. Meryl Streeps character was going nuts after having initiated an affair with her ex-husband, Alec Baldwin. Gasp! She then instantly threw her hands in the air and shouted I need to see my therapist. It got me thinking...if you need to see your therapist after having done something in hopes of justifying those actions then save yourself the money and justify it yourself. Today in English class we had talked about how todays schools don't even come close to reflecting the societal business world. We live in the information age where everything is do it yourself! So why not try to work out your problems yourself. Yes you can use outside sources, yes we all have needs that we ourselves can't fulfill alone, but unless it's something truly traumatic who needs/wants to lay down 150 dollars (Average cost for a hour therapy session...google searched it ;)) for an hour of bull$#!^. Grrrrr.....Society. Ok I'm done venting.

The last few days have been fun, just working a lot, eating a lot, and working out a lot. I've been shirking doing my homework because that's just who I am. Knees are doing great! My left ankle I sprained, not so much. My hernia surgery is holding up really well, no more problems at all, and my body is just sore from rugby 3 times a week. I've been writing this blog to avoid homework, but now I'm hungry enough to go get some food so I have a new excuse! Love you all!

So for Christmas, I got this wicked awesome rugby ball. It took a few attempts to get enough people to play a game but finally we got some out. We had ten people playing and they all fell in love with the game. Currently we are looking to get more bodies out there and start a rugby club down here in small EAC. Give us something more to do. But most of the reason why I am posting is to just inform you of where I am at in my life as of now. Physically I'm doing awesome, recovered entirely from inguinal hernia surgery. And am now attending a gym/rehab center. It's 15 dollars a month and it's AWESOME! I've been swimming every morning, Lifting weights and what not, so my body feels awesome. I could do better at eating, but I feel I'm doing really well. It's been months since I've looked at soda! Mentally, I've never been more alive in my life, my mind is so clear and though I still can have spurts of overwhelmedness I've never been more mentally awake in my life! And I'm sure that has a great amount of correlation with how my life has been going spiritually. Spiritually, I've laid everything out in front of the Lord. And thanks to my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ, and the Atonement through Jesus Christ, I've taken control of my life through the guidance of my Heavenly Father. The Gospel is true, the Lord is great, and my life is meant to be lived through his will. Whatever he has in store for me I'll do it! And though in the past I have been hugely oppossed to such open and/or written declarations of loyalty; I feel that there comes a time in a mans life where he must verbalize/write down to show to others the sacridity of his beliefs. Troubled by time!

Ok, so I don't have very long right now, but I just wanted you all to know I'm still alive. My roommate moved out and took the internet with him. So I haven't had any means of online interaction since my last post. My only online resources is wi fi at R and R pizza, which stinks because now I have to be around more pizza because of work and what not. Well, got to run to math class! Is it ok to hide away our emotions, if the trials we face define who we become, should not the emotion we emmulate, through the trials we tackle or get tackled by, make us who we are? Should fear keep us from showing our true selves? If we wore emotions like we wore clothes, would friends, family, or strangers even be a necessary label we place on those we love or do not even know? Emotions cleanse us, free us, torment us, help us, destroy us, change us, and mold us. The best definition I can give is to manipulate an object to show certain traits or structure. Am I letting myself be molded by my emotions or am I pushing my Moldee away? How much emotion is appropriate to influence ones traits? If emotions were clear...I could see others and others could see others with every curved perfection or imperfection, every perfectly placed hair or imperfectly placed hair, every unattractive freckle or adored angel kiss, every discusting mole or attractive beauty mark, every disproportionate nose or pleasantly sized one. Who's to say which is which? Emotions can take worlds apart, but can't the same power this simple word contains create an artistic masterpiece, paintings, photographs, literature, dance, music, theatre, sports, meals, jobs, family, or marriages. Only in a world of dull do we find the emotionless.

I've been working at domino's the last week...It's ok, I miss Papa John's. I make better money at Domino's but I don't think the people change is worth it any longer. Oh well... I have been trying to type the things that come to me. As deep or shallow as they may be...I guess, since I've been watching the short clips on the bottom of the home page at LDS.org I should be giving thanks daily (One of the clip titles). So from this day forward I'm going to take at least 20 minutes to observe something that I'm thankful for. Today's subject is going to be food. I'm very grateful for food! I've been very blessed to always have something to eat. I've been limited on my food choice, but I've never not had any food. today I woke up and had the best eggs of my life today! And I thank Heavenly Father for his gift of chow! I can't wait for THANKSGIVING! Disclaimer: There is no pertinence to the subject matter and what was written.

Open Eyes!

Last night for FHE, our group went to a care home. I showed up late and tried to sneak in unnoticed. As I walked in one of the ladies across the room saw me and waved, so I waved back, I had never seen this woman in my life, she was very friendly though. All at once the lady next to her turns to her and asks very loudly, "WHO'S THAT?" Everyone was laughing and it was pretty darn funny. Everyone in the group was going around saying the things they were grateful for. And as I thought about each thing they were saying, I noticed A LOT of these women and men couldn't even speak. But that they wanted badly to say something. Each of them that shared, shared there testimonies with us. And I was happy to see that even a disabled older person though there time had passed for sports and running around, or even walking most of them. They still had very powerful and very simple testimonies of the gospel. As we were coming to a close we sang a few closing songs. And the most handicaped man in the room, Brother Innes, started to cry. It was very touching, and I was very glad that I got to see it take place. We then all had Ice cream sandwiches which was funny to watch everyone eat them. These people came into this world as children and now they are more like children than they had been in years. Which makes me not want to be old....Oh well, part of life I suppose.

The other day I was sitting in sacrament meeting and I was massaging my hand, and I noticed a small black dot in my middle finger. As I was looking at what it was and trying to palpate around it to maybe get it out, I remembered that it was a sliver that I was messing with just 2 days before. By this time it had had skin grow over the top of it and was going to take some work to get it out. I'd more than likely have to cut it out. It was then that I had an epiphany. This sliver was just like sin... And the action of removing it was the atonement. Had I just removed the sliver when it was first discover and still on the surface it would have been so much easier and take a lot less effort and pain. It helped me to realize some things, and though I suppose that I had already known these things it was a lot easier to comprehend when I was willing to listen to the spirit and be taught.

Joke time! There was a man that was on his way home from work. The drive home is a good distance and he was messing with the radio stations to find something decent to pass the time with. When all of a sudden a rabbit ran out in front of him. He sent the rabbit flying as he slammed on his brakes. The man then ran out of his car to go see the rabbit, it wasn't just a rabbit though...It was the Easter Bunny! The man broke down in tears because he had now killed the Easter Bunny! A woman who was driving the opposite direction saw the man sobbing and pulled over to help him. She asked what the matter was and the man replied, "I've killed the Easter Bunny!" She then exclaimed, "I know what to do!" She then runs to the back of her car and pulls out a can and runs over to the dead Easter Bunny and sprays the carcass up and down with a substance in this can. The Easter Bunny then Leaps to his feet hopping 50 yards and then stopping turning around and waving, then another 50 yards, turns around and waves, and keeps going...The man then asks, "What's in that can?" The lady hands him the bottle, and the man reads the label Harespray Revives and gives permanent wave to your hare!

Homecoming!

This week was homecoming! To kick off the week, I worked...I've been doing a lot of that lately. It's good though because I need it...Wednesday was the only day this week that I've ended up not working since Saturday the 30th and Friday and Saturday of this week were the only two days that I didn't have to close at work since last Saturday. So I've been really busy. Tonight/Saturday the 6th was the EAC Homecoming football game! My buddy Mark and I painted our whole bodies purple with gold writting and Gila Monster patterns on our faces. The game was really fun! We barely won 14-13 though.

I've been doing really well with my New Life in November commitment! Holy Crazy, it feels like life is so slow sometimes. My new favorite word is Cerbozzled, it's said in How the Grinch Stole Christmas! I am really tired and just rambling now, so I'm gonna go to bed, good night!

A New Life in November!

Holy Moly! So I've been trying to get this posted for about 3 days! Grrrrerererer!

Recap: I went hunting with dad was the last time we talked. So we were up by Ashfork and Seligman, kinda that area. Didn't really see anything, got really close, just couldn't see any. So after two days, I called it a hunt and went home to spend some time at home. I got back, didn't really do much, worked until Fall sing. That was fun, not the best performance I've been in, but they were good. and this Tuesday we had Kirby Heyborne come and talk to us at devotional, that was ok to. I wasn't too impressed. But all of this is just things I've done. Now I'm going to talk about what I'm going to do.

November....I'm starting a new theme, a New Life in November. I'm going to live more closely to my Heavenly Father and be more productive in means of spiritual matters. I'm starting t0 get all of the physical and financial things down, but that is ALWAYS in correlation with the spirit.
So a New Life in November. It's gonna be a challenge, but i'm up for it.

Today was really fun! I had acting class today and didn't know that my contentless scene was due today. Luckily I had the lines memorized already, and my partner Gabby and I rocked it! The only constructive critique they gave us was for saying that we weren't prepared, because it literaly did rock! One of the dudes in the class said that he got chills when we hit the climax of our scene.

I got another assignment for a scene from The Glass Menagerie. I'm not entirely exstatic about this one but whatever. We'll see how it goes.

The date... It was a lot of fun! I went with this girl named Katie Maschue from Eager. Totally cute and really fun! We first melted down fondue chocolate then each couple cut certain fruits that we had to cut up. This next part was my idea! One person in the couple stands behind their date and has to be guided by them to cut the fruit, it was really fun and I totally cheated and looked. She thought I was the best blind cutter ever! Then we went to walmart and got pumpkins and carved them! I wish I had pictures! I forgot my camera. But next time I won't.

I leave tomorrow right after work for the valley to then leave with my dad to go hunting. S0 there won't be another post until early next week! Later everyone!

Day 2

So I didn't do a whole lot today. In Theatre dance we got assigned partner dances for our final, I'm with my friend Naynay, yes she's black. And we got a song from High School Musical....Eh, I don't know what to think about it yet, I don't know what song yet, I find out on Thursday.

Other exciting news, WE GOT OUR GAS TURNED ON TODAY! And I'm going to take the very first hot shower in my own trailer right now! First I'm going to have some sort of ceremony, light a candle or something. It's gonna be momentus! Well, Love you all, Goodnight!

Trying something new!

I'm going to try to post something at least once every few days from now on. Kind of like a journal type thing, I hope everyone is excited, and Claudia I might need help being reminded when I haven't posted in a while.

So to catch everyone up.....

I now live in Thatcher, Arizona. I live in a small trailer with two other guys, Stetson and Jared. Stetson doesn't say much but he is really chill and he and I get along great. Jared, is super moody and easy to upset, so I upset him as often as possible...

I have some good friends next door. My dear friends Jaala and Devon! They're awesome! We haven't had our gas turned on in our trailer yet so I've been cooking all of my food next door. They've gotten to be very good friends. I've been on a few dates since I've been here at college, nothing serious, I have one Thursday night with a girl named Katie Muschue. I don't know her very well, but she seemed like a fun person...and cute.

I miss my dogs and family a little bit, but mostly my dogs. I'm going hunting this weekend. I will get to see my dogs, I'm very excited about that. I have 3/4ths of a tank of gas in my car. I work at papa john's as a pizza delivery man, but I think I'm going to switch to domino's. Better pay. I got my first paycheck and spent it all for turning on gas and basic needs. I owe Stetson 5 dollars for internet this month too. Dangit.

I think tonight I'm just greatful. For my house, for school, for work, for my family, for my friends, for the Lord and all his many lessons for me, for the tree that shades my parking spot! Just everything. I can't wait for the date! Goodnight!

Summer is finally here!

Out here in Surprise I don't have too many friends and the few friends I have are all in high school. They have finally graduated/began summer break! So now I have friends that can do stuff with me on the weekend!

Yesterday was the Gila Valley Temple dedication, I didn't get to go to it, but... I caught up with some friends from college and went to the Mesa temple visitors center with them. We went and watched the Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration movie! IT WAS AMAZING! I had seen it before, but never before has the truthfulness of this film sunk in until yesterday!

Last weekend, may 15th and 16th I got a chance to hang out with family! It was a lot of fun! Baby Emma, my second cousin, had her baby blessing! We all then went to the Burch home and ate tons of good food and caught up with everyone. Excellent reminder of how greatful I am for my family. They are a HUGE part of my life!

Lately, I've been working on photography. I'm entering some of my photos into a competition to be displayed in an art gallery. Hopefully that'll go well. I've also been working on using my photo's to piece stuff together to make a book. Hopefully I can get all the pictures I need soon.

Recap!

So I don't have a whole lot of time to post this so I'm going to do a recap of my life in the past month, just to keep you guys informed. So here we go.

Christmas at the Larson's, was my last post.

Had no plans for New Years, ended up just inviting some friends to a house and it ended with my friend Isaac running naked through the back yard. Interesting.

Snuck into the old abandoned dog track off the I-10 with Isaac and Jensen, I was scared out of my pants, but it was fun. Not gonnna lie I was too much of a wimp from watching I Am Legend to go much further than the first floor.

Went to a dance party in Gilbert with Casey, Anika, and some of her friends, met some people going to hang out with some of them on Valentine's day for another dance party for single people.

Met up with Kristin for lunch, cute girl, fun, good friend.

Made friends with a girl named Karen, attempted to go to a dance club with her and her friend Sandra, dance club was closed that sucked.

Started school, Monday and Wednesday nights from 545-730, plus two online courses.

Wrestle every Tuesday and Thursday, work schedule got changed now wrestler Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays.

Play football with the boys on Wednesday nights after school.

Go to singles ward FHE on Mondays after school.

Personal training with Frank on Tuesdays and Thursdays after wrestling, plus work outs on Fridays and Saturdays. I'm still making attempts to get up early enough before work to go to the gym on Mondays and Wednesdays, but it probably won't happen.

Took a trip to Thatcher, AZ. Took engagement pictures for my good friend Alyssa who is marrying Ty. I got to watch them for a full day they are adorable together, I wish them the best. Stayed way later than I should have, didn't get home until 330 in the morning, had to be at work at 8 that same morning. Fun day.

Got my car washed, lazy people didn't clean the dog hair from Jet being in the back seat.

Went to court for Leaving the Designated Trail in a national park, got fined 100 dollars. Judge rolled his eyes when the case was presented.

Work on editing photos constantly, eventually they will all be up on facebook, find me and check them out.

Went to Denny's with Denessa.

Played in the snow in the institute parking lot with a lot of people. Went to Denny's with Denessa, Ben, and Chris.

Dang, that was releaving, I need to do that more often.

For Christmas this year I got a new camera. My old one broke which is why I haven't posted anything in forever. But now that I have a camera I can start posting things again. My philosophy is, no one cares about a blog unless there is something interesting to see. So now there will be.

But for Christmas, we woke up, earlier than we should of course...went and opened up presents...went to the other house and picked fruit...went over to Lisa and Lonnies for a dinner/lunch thingy...and then came home and I went to a friends and everyone else being lame like they are went to bed. This is a short story I wrote, it's mostly true. I threw in a few things, but it is a non fiction story of what me and my sister started doing every single year at christmas.

A wave of excitement rushes over his body. His heart is racing faster and faster as the anxiety drives his mind to fantasies of what could happen the next morning. His soft sheets feel as though they are kissing his skin, and are twisted around his body from the constant tossing and turning that he has engaged himself in. The static shocks jolt him with each slight twitch as the friction builds up on his cotton, fruit of loom, spiderman pajamas. “If only I knew,” he thought to himself. With the slow painful passing of time, sleep encompasses him. He fights it, his eyelids closing for small moments then shooting open as if surprised by something. The night fades on, and sleep wins the battle.
“Thud!”
The young boy awakes. “What was that?” As his head ceases its’ spinning, a realization crosses his mind. The sheets were not soft anymore, a coarse surface grinded against his exposed hands, face, and feet. When has the comfort of his wooden, twin bed escaped him? “Someone must have stolen it while I was sleeping,” he thought to himself. As he glimpses back to find his bed his head turns smack into the front of it. Pain covers the top of his head leaving a deep throbbing mark on it. “Well at least I found my bed.” He pushes his hands to the ground and raises himself to his feet. “I really need to stop doing this. But who cares right now, IT’S CHRISTMAS!”
The boy leaps into the air as a feelin of ecstasy replaces all thoughts of confusion, and he dashes to his bedroom door. Before he opens it he looks back and sees the darkness his room still holds in. “It’s still night,” he sadly growns, and turns back to his door. “If I can just see the clock on the microwave without waking up anyone then I’ll know how long I have to wait.” He slowly molds his right hand to the door knob and twists it clockwise. He places his left hand on the crayon marked door and carefully pushes it open just a little crack at first so he can peer down the hallway. He releases the door knob slowly. Places his left eye up to the crack, and gazes down the dark hall. A faint light dances on the walls and cabinets in the kitchen just pass the hallway, from the blinking Christmas tree lights. The coast is clear.
As he pushes the door open further, he slides his body out and while facing the hallway looks behind him into his sister’s room. There she was, fast asleep in her bed. His mind wandered, “why are teenagers always sleeping? Doesn’t she know it’s Christmas?! Someday she’ll realize what’s important.” He crept over to his parent’s room first lookin under the door to see if a light might be on. “No light.” He first steadys himself with his hands on the wall, then places his right ear on the cold door. “Snoring, that’s a good sign,” he whispered. He then continued, slowly, as to not make any sound, down the seemingly never ending hallway, passing the small linen closet, then the bathroom. He can see the clock from here, but cannot make out what it reads. He squints and leans in, trying not to breach the safety of the walls of the hall, because he would then see all the Christmas presents and spoil his surprise. “Four o’clock, they have had plenty of sleep! Santa doesn’t even go to bed on Christmas; they should have no problem getting up!” He runs back to his sister’s room, and almost takes a step inside, but hesitates because he knows how much she doesn’t like him in her room. He stands at the very edge of the doorway, and trys to awake his sister with a whispered-yell. “Claudia! Claudia! Wake up!” he hears a grumble and sees here roll herself over and covers her head with mounds of blankets. He then cautiously walks into her room and approaches her slowly. He taps the only part of her body exposed from underneath the piles of floral patterned bedspreads, the top of her head. Her body jolts around and faces the boy, and it looks as though a look of fear, from a horror movie, is copied onto her face; it then transforms into a look of anger.
“What are you doing up?” she mumbles in her half asleep rage.
“It’s Christmas!” the boy says. At this time a radiant smile of innocence shines from his face.
“It’s time to get up!” She glances over at her clock that’s sitting on her nail polish covered dresser.
“It’s 4:02 in the morning, go back to sleep.”
“I can tell time, I was taught in second grade.” His smile fades and a look of hurt now shows. His sister then starts to giggle. “That’s not funny,” he says.
“I know. I’m sorry,” she spits out between bursts of her laughter. “Go get mom and dad up, you pain.”
“Ok,” he shouts as he scampers out. He runs straight up to the door and stops, turns around and walks back into his sister’s room. “Claudia?” He asks in a somewhat whining tone.
“What?” She retorts.
“Can you get them up for me?” she looks at him and laughs again.
“No, but I’ll go with you.” They walk up to the door, and his sister reaches for the handle.
“Wait!” he whispers. “Do you think we should wait a little while before we get them up?”
“Probably, why didn’t you think of that before you came and woke me up?”
“I dunno.”
“Come on, we can play cards for a little while in my room. Then we’ll go and get them up.” They both walk back into her room and he sits down on her floor. She reaches up to the same dresser were her clock and nail polishes were perched and brought down a deck of playing cards. “What game do you want to play?”
“WAR!” he shouts.
She laughs, “Ok.” She pulls the top tab of the box of cards back and points the opening down into her palm; the cards slide out, their extravagant, red, swirling design facing the young boy. His sister carefully separates the cards into two piles and shuffles them; the sound of the cards slapping each other fills the room. She then deals the cards out tossing them in two piles, one in front of the boy, the other in front of her, one by one. She places the last card and in her pile and then picks them up, “Ok, count your pile.” He picks them up and sorts through them, counting twenty-six. They begin their game, both laying down a card one after another, each hoping for a higher card than the other. After they complete three games, his sister puts down her cards, “I’m exhausted.”
“Me too,” he says. “I’m just gonna lay here for a bit.”
There was no fight for sleep this time, it just came. The boy’s eyes shut and he lay there, cuddled up in a ball, on the floor. The sleep wasn’t invited and yet he didn’t try to keep it away either. He slept, and dreamed of what he might receive, once he finally decided to wake up.

Halloween!

So for Halloween this year, unfortunately, I was unable to spend it with my lovely girlfriend Lindsay, that was the first time we spent actual time with each other. We watched the movie Signs and passed out candy and made fun of all the old people still going around for candy. That girl is something else. But anywho, I chilled with my friend Rachel Leber and her roommates. I was a hippie as you might be able to tell from the pictures. Have yourself a look see.

So I have had these shoes for 4 years. They have serviced me well, and finally I must lay them to rest. It is a sad day in my heart. But no worries I got some sweet new shoes that will keep my feet plenty warm, considering they are flannel. YES!!!
No worries guys I'm not a freak yet, I'm just one step closer to becoming one.

Hello all. Lindsay has been wanting me to get a blog and business. So in an effort to avoid doing my paper that I'm like a paragraqh away from completing I figured I might as well make myself usefulish (I just made that word up). Well now that wrestling is starting again I've been working on my figure, but instead of being a 160 lbs, I'm sitting at a wopping 178 lbs (holy moses, I know). Don't worry Lindsay and Mom, it's not fat. :) Well up here in Idaho I'm never to bored. I don't really have any friends the only people I hang out with is my Canadian roommate, Michael Jefferey Frodgum Harker and a few of the girls in my FHE group (I don't know their names). They're pretty chill though. I was on an ultimate frisbee team, but we lost out in the single elimination rounds of the all around tournament. So that's over. But on a successful note now I can dedicate time to my wrestling career. This last Friday, BYU I hosted a crazy tournament. I wrestled a kid from Washington and a kid from Virginia, (pinned both of them) and was claimed the varsity 175 lbs wrestler at BYU I. I only call them kids because I beat them, they were both very much older than me, I know they could grow facial hair. Oh, in that area I've advanced to a Mini Mexi Mustache and about 10 hairs on my chin. Exciting I know. But tonight I was sitting here thinking of how special life is. I shared a small lesson with my FHE group tonight in 1 Nephi 11:17. Great scripture look it up. In that small moment I could truly feel the love of my Savior and of my Heaven Father. I was standing there in a room full of people and they were all stairing at me and I got a little choked up and knew my Father loves them as well. I can not express how glorious the gospel is!!!!! If only people knew how great it was they'd give everything away!!! Life gives us experiences that challenge us and stretch us to great lengths, sometime so great we feel we can't go on. But when these times come on me I remember my Father loves me and can help me through anything that I will go through. He loves you and I so much!! I know he does. And guess what I just proved the theory wrong that the spirit goes to bed at midnight, it's 1:40 here in Rexburg. Haha, take that parentals. Well I love you all and so does you're Heavenly Father! I feel incomplete if I don't say goodnight, so... Good night.
